The 2009 St. Louis Regional FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)
This award has been established to foster technical innovation in the field of robotics and sharing this technology with others.
The spirit of FIRST encourages high-quality work and emphasizes the value of others with respect for individuals and the community.
This award follows that spirit by recognizing individuals that have contributed to technical innovation along with their
ability to communicate their ideas to others.
2009
First place cash award of $5,000 to the winner and $500 to the team
Second place cash award of $2000 the winner and $500
to the team
No academic or financial needs are considered
Award based on technical innovation and communication skills
Applicants
must have participated in the 2009 St. Louis Regional FRC competition
Applicants who are selected for the final phase must make
a short verbal presentation by phone before a panel of judges at the the Emerson Center for Engineering and Manufacturing
Award funds are administered by the St. Louis Community College Foundation
